Student Intern

Out of your vulnerabilities will come your strength.

Sigmund Freud

Do you find yourself frequently feeling anxious or battling with low moods? Perhaps managing your emotions feels like an uphill struggle, and even small challenges can feel overwhelming. You may also face difficulties in your relationships, struggling to connect with others or express your needs clearly. If you’ve experienced trauma or abuse, these feelings can be even more intense, affecting your self-esteem and how you perceive yourself.

You desire to feel better, to handle your stress and emotions more effectively, and to build stronger, healthier relationships.

You want to stop being so critical of yourself and improve your self-esteem. Everyone needs support at times, and it’s perfectly okay to seek help when you’re feeling stuck.

I believe that everyone has the capacity for change and healing. My role as a therapist is to guide and support my clients on their path to self-discovery and self-connection. Together, we can develop strategies to manage your anxiety, lift your mood, and regulate your emotions. We can address past traumas, improve your relationships, and help you be kinder to yourself.

My Approach to Therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered and holistic. I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings. By drawing from various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Narrative Therapy (NT).

I tailor my therapeutic methods to meet the unique needs of each individual, fostering personal growth and emotional well-being. I’m currently a student intern, completing a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
